Boys Lacrosse: Nine Delco players named All-Americas, three add academic honors

Nine Delco players were named All-Americans by U.S. Lacrosse Monday, including a pair of long-stick mids in Sam Camp of Radnor and Conor Black of Haverford School. Three players — Episcopal Academy’s John Flynn and Strath Haven’s Kevin Murphy and Will Ohley — earned Academic All-American honors. The coach of the year award was bestowed up on Malvern Prep’s John McEvoy after his team’s undefeated season, while the Bob Scott Award goes to Lower Merion’s Daniel Buckman. This athlete does not necessarily play every minute and lead the team in accolades, but, like Bob Scott, has a true passion and love for the game.”
