We may not know when, exactly, everyone will finally take the court this weekend, but we do know that Delco is in for a stirring opening round to the District One Class AAAA tournament. With eight teams taking part in seven games, there promises to be few dull moments.

Here’s your full preview package:

– First, there’s Radnor, who drew the No. 19 seed and will meet No. 14 Rustin for its first ever playoff berth.

– No. 23 Haverford and No. 10 Upper Darby know what’s in store when they renew acquaintances for a third time this season.

– No. 2 Chester is ready for the challenge presented by No. 31 Henderson.

– No. 9 Penn Wood is stressing team basketball for when No. 24 Bishop Shanahan pays a visit.

– No. 16 Ridley faces a familiar foe in No. 17 Methacton.

– No. 11 Penncrest is hoping to end a slide against No. 22 CB West.

– No. 28 Academy Park will have to stomach a taste of its own fast-paced medicine in traveling to meet No. 5 Pennsbury.
