All eyes were on a big Catholic League battle between Archbishop Carroll and Cardinal O’Hara, and it was the defense of the Patriots — and some timely shooting from Lexi Stoverthat led them to victory. Mollie Reynolds had a big day for Haverford, which used a balanced team effort to down Academy Park and lead our girls hoops roundup. Mahir Johnson was the star for Chester, which pulled off a miraculous comeback to top Capital Christian. On the mats, Austin Jacque and Penncrest had a productive day at the Vanguard Invitational.
