Our back page was devoted to a classic tilt between Cardinal O’Hara and Bonner-Prendergast, with the Lions just eking out a win at the buzzer. The rest of the girls basketball action is led by Haley Sipple’s milestone 1,000th point in a loss for Chichester. Eric Anderson helped Haverford School take another step toward an Inter-Ac basketball title, while Ben Casanova helped ensure another dramatic Penncrest victory to lead the roundup. In the pool, Johnny Truax led the Marple boys to a win, while Sarah Baturka paced the Episcopal Academy girls. Haverford earned a come-from-behind win on the ice over Springfield, while Episcopal Academy scored a trifecta of wins in a wrestling quad meet.
