It was a busy day in the pool, where Radnor ceded the inside track to the Central League swimming title to Conestoga, which swept the boys and girls competition. In other boys swimming action, Quinton Beck had a record-setting day for Ridley, while Elizabeth Verzella led Haverford to a Central League win. For our wrestling notebook, Strath Haven’s Frantz brothers, Nate and Noah, have seen their casual interest grow into major success on the mats. On the ice, Haverford surged in the third period to down Springfield. Maddie Thornton had a career night to help Chichester survive in overtime against Coatesville. Mark Plousis did what he could, but it wasn’t enough for Cardinal O’Hara boys basketball.
