There’s going to be a lot of All-Delco on your TV tomorrow night.
At 9 p.m., it’s Texas Southern (2-2) playing against Texas Tech (2-1). The Tigers feature Glen Mills All-Delco Aaric Murray, who formerly played at La Salle and West Virginia. Murray has gotten off to a phenomenal start for TSU in his senior year, posting early averages of 23.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.8 blocks and 2.8 assists per game. The 6-10 center is also connecting on an impressive 38.1 percent of his 3-point attempts.
Murray is joined by freshman Tyree Bynum. The former Penn Wood star led Delco in scoring last year at better than 20 points per game as he collected an All-Delco nod. Bynum has only played in one game for the Tigers when he scored two points and collected a pair of rebounds.
At 11 p.m., Chester’s Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, the first two-time Daily Times Player of the Year, guides No. 6 Arizona (3-0) into a battle with Fairleigh Dickinson (1-2). Hollis-Jefferson is getting significant playing time for the Wildcats, averaging eight points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.3 steals and earning early praise from national writers.
