Sam Swart hasn’t played a high school lacrosse game yet, but she’s already making waves.
Fresh off helping Archbishop Carroll to the second round of the PIAA Class AA field hockey tournament, Swart became the first public 2017 verbal in the country by committing to Syracuse.
That is per Chris Goldberg of Phillylacrosse.com, who broke the story.
Swart was the Patriots’ second-leading scorer this field hockey season with five goals and 15 assists. She projects as a possible freshman starter for the 13-time Catholic League champions.
I’m hoping to do a massive recruiting roundup in the near future, so I hope to have more from the Swart soon.
