Sun Valley volleyball talked the talk about wanting to take down Strath Haven… then the Vanguards walked the walk in a phenomenal 3-2 victory over the Panthers to move on to the District One quarterfinals.

Ami Ianello‘s header in double overtime boosted Strath Haven girls soccer to a 1-0 win over Unionville to advance to the District One quarterfinals. Kristin Burnetta continued her ridiculous goal-scoring spree with a hat trick in Agnes Irwin’s 7-0 romp of Baldwin.

Ridley boys soccer’s Cinderella season came to an end via a 1-0 loss to Central Bucks WestRobbie and All-Delco Evan Needs paced The Christian Academy to a 3-2 win over Atlantic Christian.

Cardinal O’Hara boys cross country romped to a District 12 championshipand so did the girls.

Agnes Irwin field hockey, led by the TornettasSophia and Julianna, scored a 4-3 upset over an undermanned Cardinal O’Hara squad.

Archbishop Carroll’s Rachel Tygh and Stef Barkofski claimed the Catholic League girls tennis doubles title.
