The final girls soccer standings in the Central League are set, thanks to the goals of Garnet Valley’s Haley Warden and the penalty-kick taking of Haverford goalie Kelly Rogers (no that’s not a typo). On the links, Marple Newtown’s Sam Soeth and Radnor’s Brynn Walker booked trips to states at PIAA regionals. Loseni Konneh scored twice as the Upper Darby boys soccer team got by Garnet Valley, and that Moira Putsch girls scored a bunch more goals for Notre Dame. Archbishop Carroll’s volleyball team picked up a big win, but their girls tennis squad dropped a chance to earn a Catholic League title. Finally, senior captains Alex Heldring and John Zipf come up big as Haverford School swims past rival Episcopal Academy in water polo.
