Major size at the net for Strath Haven volleyball? Nothing new. The next one in that never-ending pipeline of 6-footers is freshman Brianna Fisher, who helped the Panthers upend Penncrest, 3-1, in the Central League semifinal.

Sun Valley volleyball had its Senior Night, but it was junior Madison McCunney that came up with the stat line of the season in a 3-2 win over Great Valley.

This week’s girls soccer notebook sees Agnes Irwin welcoming back goalkeeper Autumn Wedderburn. On the pitch, it was Marissa Saba‘s late goal that propelled Chichester to a 3-2 win over Bonner-Prendergast. On the boys side, former Union player Danny Califf is helping out as a Marple Newtown assistant coach.

It’s crunch time for Radnor field hockey as the Raiders need to win out to have a shot at the District One playoffs. Lydia Sydnor obliged with a six-point game in a 7-1 rout of Penncrest.

Rachel Tygh and Stef Barkofski paced Archbishop Carroll girls tennis to a 5-0 Catholic League semifinal win over Archbishop Wood.
