The Kristen Miller Show was on last night. Turned out to be a pretty good episode for Strath Haven girls soccer. The All-Delco scored both goals in a Central League title-clinching 2-0 win over Haverford.

Elsewhere on the pitch, Julia Kyne buried a breakaway to cement a 2-1 Delco Christian come-from-behind win over New Hope-Solebury.

On the boys’ side of things, Sean Myers turned provider on Shane O’Neil‘s marker to give Strath Haven a 1-0 blanking of Haverford.

Depending on who you ask, Garnet Valley field hockey may have been on the wrong end of a pretty crucial call, one that made a big difference in a 3-2 loss to Conestoga that gave the Pioneers at least a share of the Central League title.

In other field hockey action, Strath Haven was more than willing to gain a small measure of revenge for a pair of losses to Haverford last year by knocking off the Fords, 3-2, on Haverford’s Senior Night thanks to an Andrea Govannicci hat trick. No love lost between those two teams, especially since third place in the Central League was on the line.

It was a day that ended in Y, so you know Chelsea Jones and Madison McCunney were dominating for Sun Valley volleyball, this time in a 3-2 win over Downingtown West.
