Coachless since it let Tim Kelly go, Cardinal O’Hara finally made a move to fill its head coaching vacancy.

Per an email from athletic director Steve Langley, the school selected 1990 alumnus Steve Cloran to guide its program through the daunting Catholic League. The Saint Francis graduate spent the past season as an assistant on the Haverford College women’s team staff.

Cloran was the head coach at The Haverford School from 2003-11 before being replaced by Henry Fairfax. Prior to his time on Lancaster Avenue, Cloran coached at Marple Newtown from 2000-03.

    • Tim Kelly is great guy.Sorry to this happen to him, however Steve Cloran is a great fit, and wish him the best!!

  1. Nothing will change unless the people above him change,or their protocol and approach. Kell was set up to fail, cant recruit w/ a knife when it’s a gun fight. The hierarchy at CO’H can best be described as a Confederacy of Dunces.
