The marquee event Thursday evening was the Hero Brawl … I mean Bowl, which saw the West squad eventually subdue the East. Among the stars of the game was Haverford’s Eddie Durkin, and yeah, here are the gory details of the on-field fisticuffs.

Elsewhere, Chichester came up just short in its quest for a Cinderella story district title. Bonner-Prendergast baseball succeeded in winning its third District 12 Class AAA title in four years, while TCA took a step closer to a title with a commanding win in the Tri-State Christian Conference semis.

On the college commitment front, Haverford School All-Delco golfer Cole Berman has pledged his future to Georgetown, while Penn Wood track star and PIAA gold medalist Caela Williams will spend the next four years at George Mason.
