Baseball: Delco Carpenter Cup rosters released

The first thing that jumps out at you about this year’s Delco Carpenter Cup roster is experience: 13 of the 25 players on the roster are seniors; only three (two sophomores and freshman Connor Wilson) are younger than juniors. It’s a veteran leadership that has proven difficult to come by in the competition for Paul Bogosian’s team over the years. Integral to that is a four-play contingent from Strath Haven, including a trifecta of seniors.

Pitching-wise, there’s depth from both sides. The team has depth behind the plate and maybe just enough offense to maybe win a game or two, which is no narrow-minded prognostication for a team that has historically struggled in this competition. The full roster
