A strong pitchers’ duel between two of the county’s best in All-Delco Savannah Nierintz and Bridget Newman went Nierintz’s and the Royals’ way in a 3-2 triumph over Newman and Haverford that gave each team half of the Central League softball title. The weekly softball notebook takes a look at the Radnor trio of Bari MargolisKyla Crombie and Izzy Schaefer and their production for the Red Raiders. Upper Darby track’s Claudine Andre wants to make a return trip to states and that starts at Friday’s District One meet. For the second year in a row, The Haverford School’s tennis team went undefeated and a large part of that was thanks to the Lieb brothers, ZachBen and Jordan.
