Penncrest’s Peter Coote clears 13 feet to claim the pole vault at the Central League Championships.

At the Central League track championships, all Penncrest sophomore Mariah Kozub did was post the fastest time in the county this year to claim the 100-meter hurdles. Penncrest softball needed a late comeback and the Lions got it thanks to a Sam Crann two-RBI single to clinch a 12-11 win. The weekly notebook takes a look at Bonner-Prendergast’s playoff outlook. The rest of the schools roundup leads with Sami Barnett‘s offensive show to lead Interboro girls lacrosse past Chichester, 18-6.
