Matt Galetta‘s gem on the mound helped The Haverford School’s baseball team to a 6-0 win over Springside Chestnut Hill. On the boys lacrosse front, Episcopal Academy will have to wait a little longer to try to claim a share of its first Inter-Ac title in 15 years after an 11-5 loss to Malvern Prep. Interboro’s Doug Yamamoto tried the pole vault on a whim. Now he’s one of the best around as he proved at Delcos. On the girls side, Penn Wood All-Delco Caela Williams is learning it’s OK to take a day off once in a while and it’s paying off big time. The rest of the high school action leads with the “best ever” Academy Park tennis team claiming the Del Val title, its second in three years, with a 4-1 win over Penn Wood.
