Radnor boys lacrosse waved goodbye to a 10-year streak of misery against Conestoga and ended the Pioneers’ 32-game Central League winning streak with an impressive 10-3 thumping, thanks to hat tricks from Peter Donato and Mike Cherry. The Radnor girls weren’t quite as lucky, though, as they fell to the Pioneers, 16-9, despite a hat trick from Shannon Quinn. Malvern Prep baseball’s Gardner Nutter kept Episcopal Academy’s bats in knots as the Friars smacked the Churchmen, 9-1. The weekly baseball notebook eyes up Archbishop Carroll’s hitters’ haven, with appearances from Eric McGough, Matt Lafferty and Evan Harvey. The rest of the schools action leads with All-Delco Caela Williams spurring Penn Wood to a Del Val track title with a 102-35 romp over Chichester.
