Shawn Church‘s college career will finally begin.
After taking a year off after graduating from Ridley, the 2012 All-Delco signed on to play at Harcum College. During his senior year, Church averaged 17.8 points, 11 rebounds and five assists per game and also joined the 1,000-point club.
The former Central League MVP joins a Bears team that went 20-11 a year ago and made it to the NJCAA Region XV Tournament Semifinals before bowing out to Monroe, 68-59. If Church plays well at the two-year college, he could see his future collegiate prospects increase despite being an undersized power forward at 6-3.
