The highlight of a busy Thursday night was undoubtedly the come-from-behind win spurred by Daily Times Player of the Year Rondae Jefferson for his Clippers over Penn Wood, Matt Chandik on hand to take in the festivities. Also from Matt, there’s a resurgence of a very different kind going on at Garnet Valley with its surprising return to winning ways, as profiled in his latest notebook. Steve Lienert was on hand to see Upper Darby come close to a major upset of Pennsbury at District Duels wrestling. Leading the wrap up of the rest of the high school action is Stacey MacArthur’s busy night for Delco Christian girls basketball.
