More Signing Day…
Katie Roe missed out on her senior year of field hockey for the Academy of Notre Dame because of a torn ACL. While she won’t get to play for the Irish again, she hopes to be able to do so at the next level. Wednesday, she inked a Letter of Intent with the College of William & Mary.
Emily Faught didn’t have a torn ACL, but she did suffer a stress fracture in her foot. Nevertheless, she played the entire season and racked up her second straight All-Delco nod. Faught, who ranked second on the Irish with 20 goals and 12 assists, signed the University of Virginia.
As a reminder, if you have a picture of athletes signing their Letters of Intent from Wednesday, please email them to mchandik@delcotimes.com or mdegeorge@delcotimes.com and we’ll be glad to post them on here.
