Haverford, Strath Haven, Garnet Valley, Radnor and Interboro are the Delco teams that qualified for the District One tournament. Their overall seeds are No. 7, No. 10, No. 12, No. 25 and No. 27, respectively, and if the Fords and Panthers win their opening games, they’ll play each other in Round 2.
Last year, the Red Raiders surprised a ton of people by upsetting Souderton, 3-1, before falling in overtime in Round 2 to Central Bucks East. That was the longest that any Delco team stuck around for. This year, with even higher seeds than a year ago, there’s optimism that one of the county teams can make a long run. So, here’s the question. Who makes it the farthest and why? Vote for your choice and feel free to explain it in the comments, too. As always, any insults of any kind will be deleted. The poll will close in 24 hours.
Let me know who’s going to still be around when no one else is.
