It’s been a busy weekend for high school sports, most of which you can read about over at this other site that’s pretty good.
But on the non-football front, here’s what we’ve got going on. From Friday, Emily Liu of Radnor was Delco’s lone semifinalist in the Central League singles tournament, plus all the other high school action from a very busy day. Also from Friday, Matthew De George was out at the Haverford School to see Brett Campbell collect a game-winning brace in a chippy win over Springside Chestnut Hill Academy.
All of Saturday’s high school action is in one neat little package, led by the Christian Academy striker Evan Needs scoring more goals (big shock), plus the culmination of Central League singles.
